What is an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA)?

An Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) is an individual who has passed an entry-level product proficiency exam to prove he/she has the necessary skills to plan, design, and communicate ideas using different forms of digital media. The certification is a globally recognized qualification and a good, first-step towards acquiring an expert-level certificate.

There are five types of associate certifications:

  • Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop
  • Print and Digital Media Publication using Adobe InDesign
  • Graphic Design and Illustration using Adobe Illustrator
  • Video Communication using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Web Communication using Adobe Dreamweaver

Note, we currently have exam guides for Photoshop CC and CS6 but not the other applications.

Once you have passed the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exam, you can expect to receive the following benefits:

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE ADOBE CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE (ACA) EXAM?

There are various routes you can take in order to prepare for the exam. You can take your pick from the following:

  • Read the application's Help file from cover to cover
  • Make use of the corresponding *Classroom in a Book series
  • View free relevant online training videos and read tutorials
  • Enrol for a training program (tuition can be expensive)
  • Deploy one of our easy to use interactive exam guides

*Note, the CIAB series and the application's Help file both lack coverage of areas that you need to study, and cover areas that you don't need to study.

WHY SHOULD I USE AN EXAM GUIDE TO PREPARE FOR THE EXAM?

Discounting a training program, material regarding two of the five domains on which you will be tested is scarce and/or scattered. This is just one reason why our exam guides tick so many boxes:

  • They are focused on the topics set by Adobe
  • They include an interactive examEngine
  • They emulate the official exam experience
  • They are available for Windows or Mac OS

For more than a decade now, our prepKits have helped thousands of people pass the Adobe exams and we have unsolicited testimonies from satisfied customers as proof.

You can download a free demo for Windows or for Mac OS, or visit a corresponding product page for more details.

We have some handy advice on our Tips & Tricks page for people who are new to electronic testing, or just need some guidance on how to set up a self study regime.
